DUSA’s Levulan® Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) photo-detection technology uses light-activated drugs to treat a variety of dermatological conditions, from common skin lesions to pre-cancers. The company needed an efficient way to properly train medical personnel to use their equipment.

Solution

Stone Media Productions designed a video-based instructional presentation for clinicians and physicians. It clearly showcased system features and benefits, gave a clinical demonstration of the system’s setup and operation, and included an innovative troubleshooting segment designed to answer the most common customer inquiries.

Result

Another happy ending: DUSA now educates users at a fraction of the cost of classroom or on-site training; and customers can begin learning right away, instead of waiting for scheduled in-person sessions. The video also serves as an ongoing teaching tool, enabling primary consumers to train staff members in a consistent and thorough manner. This presentation has been so successful, DUSA had us transform it into CD-ROM format.
